October 13th Fall Festival at 44th and Penn Ave N Minneapolis 55412 Fall is coming and the businesses on 44th and Penn would like to celebrate RAIN OR SHINE. Area businesses Steamworks, The Warren-An Artist Habitat, Mighty Stitch, The Doorway, and Rix Bar and Grill are hosting an event at the intersection of 44th and Penn called the Fall Festival, October 13, 2007 8am to 5pm. Steamworks Coffee and Tea Co. started this event a few years back and in the last two years more businesses have become involved. Steamworks will have music, a fire pit, and specials on food in a concession (mini donuts, Hot Wings, free ice cream cones, etc.) outside the coffee shop. Mighty Stitch will have deals on alterations (10% off min $10 order) and some clothing specials and free hot cider . David from The Doorway will be on hand to sell some of his products and to provide free 5 min. massages. Rix Bar and Grill will also have a "buy a lunch get one 1/2 off" special. The Warren will be host to an art fair (10am to 5pm) and the Workhouse Theatre doing a small piece on the WTC stage. All events at The Warren are free. Food, fun, culture, and services are here in the neighborhood, stop by and check it out.
Artist Statement I have been doing drawings and paintings for over two decades. Please come and see some new, and some old artwork. I will have at lest one large piece and smaller pieces. Most work will be framed and ready to hang in your home. I will be displaying and selling my new series of postcard studies, as well postcards. - John Terwilliger
