Treetops At the
Red Cross
"The Charcoal grinds itself into nothing,
the very act of drawing is as destructive as it is creative.
Something grows out of the death of the material. The drawing
surface and the drawing material change as the drawing eats
itself away and grows. The paper sucks up the charcoal and
dust drifts down the surface of the paper subtly tinting/staining
the white gray." The Braindead Aesthetic - 2005
