Plywood
Here is a page of John Terwilliger's drawings on plywood.
I have worked rehabbing homes and always
seem to have scrap pieces of plywood laying around so I decided to
start drawing on them. Plywood is an unforgiving substrate for
drawing. Most of these works are done on standard 1/4" B/C
pine plywood. The grain and pattern of the plywood take the
charcoal and pastel differently so a line may be heavy in one area
and simply flake off in another.
