Shadow Figure Paintings
There is a reality which is unreal
and it is the world of shadows. Cast shadows undulate and
change and contain many things which are not really there.
Perception is allowed to run off into the imagination and beyond.
In these paintings most of the figures are drawn from shadows I cast
directly onto the canvas.
